new year
Does a new year celebration, a birthday, or something like that really mean something? I am a kind of guy that never celebrate such kind of thing. For me celebration is only needed when we achieve something great, when we do something wonderful, or when we got some of our dreams happen.
As big great thing doesn’t happen everyday or every year in our live, so I rarely celebrate something. Even in my birthday. Everybody ask me to make a party. But I refuse. We can do party every time we like, but not for my birthday. Moreover, I always feel sad in my birthday, and in the new year too because it make me realize that I am growing old and older. And I didn’t made something yet. Something that can make me proud of.
Tuhan sudah memberiku banyak kelebihan, tapi aku tak punya cukup ketekunan, keteguhan sikap untuk mengerjakan mimpi-mimpiku. Will I end up just like the ordinary people? I always believe that I’m not designed to be an ordinary man. But a well designed, well manufactured machine could go wrong and broken sometime. Apalagi manusia yang bisa berkehendak sendiri melawan keinginan pembuatnya. Apalagi manusia yang dikaruniai anugrah hebat bernama kemalasan?
